This shirt is crafted from a high quality man-made cloth, made to mirror silk, and dates back to the late 1970s. This romantic shirt fastens down the front with tonal pearlescent buttons and has a small rounded collar. The shirt all features a decadent plissé-pleated, ruffle collar which is detachable and ties at the front of the neck. This shirt is unlined. The original label reads “Zandra Rhodes London” and is accompanied by care labels printed with sketches by Zandra Rhodes and her hand-writing.
This playful shirt is in excellent vintage condition with no flaws of any note. The labels state 100% Polyester and a size UK 12. Vintage sizes vary hugely so it is best to check our measurements below as the fabric has little stretch. We believe that this would best fit a size smaller - so a UK 10 or US 6. Our model's sizes are: Bust: 31" (80cm), Waist 25" (64cm), Hips: 34" (87cm) and 5' 4" (164cm) and she's a size UK 6, US 2. This blouse looked great on her with some room to spare.
