1970s Glen Sportique Polka Dot Print Linen Cotton Blouse
A great example of early 1970s daywear, this blouse was designed by Glen Sportique. Tailored from linen and cotton fabrics, and printed with polka dots arranged in a zig-zag formation in fuchsia pink, apple green, mustard, orange, lilac and white. The top has a flattering wide-neckline; the long sleeves crafted from a lightweight, semi-sheer cotton and finish with floaty ruffle cuffs, adding to the playful, free-spirited feel. The cut is relaxed and hangs straight, lightly skimming the curves of the body. The top is unlined. It fastens at the rear with a hidden zip and hook-and-eye clasp.
In excellent vintage condition with no flaws and the psychedelic print has lost none of its vibrancy. Labelled a vintage US size 9, the fabric has no stretch. We believe it is a best fit for up to a size UK 8-10, US 6 and is modelled here on a UK 6 or US 2.
