Made in England, this 1970s Berkertex dress is crafted from a lightweight black and white polka-dot cotton gauze. Cut to a long-sleeve, high-neck silhouette, the flippy, pleated skirt falls to calf-length. The skirt features three inverted bands formed of contrasting monochrome polka-dot patterns. The collar is christened by a bow which gives the appearance of a pussy-bow neckline. The fabric is very floaty and ever so slightly sheer with the skirt having a separate white cotton lining. The dress fastens at the rear of the neck with a hidden zip and hook-and-eye clasp.
In great vintage condition with no issues of any note. Labelled a vintage size 12 which is smaller than today's sizing; we recommend this suitable for a small size UK size 8-10 or US 4-6.
